DeAnna Pappas Reveals Bombshell Info About Her Last Night with Brad Womack
DeAnna Pappas Stagliano shared some bombshell information about her last night with Brad Womack before the final Rose Ceremony on Season 11 of "The Bachelor."
DeAnna joined Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin on a new episode of "Bachelor Happy Hour" and opened up abut her time on "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette," and how her life has changed since then.
DeAnna made it to the final two on Brad's first go-around as the Bachelor, and she believed he would propose. He blindsided her, however, when he sent her home as well as Jenni Croft, the other finalist. She said on the podcast, "The situation with Brad, the hard part is that viewers see a certain thing, but they don’t know what happens off-camera. They don’t know the things that Brad said to me."
She continued, "I try to lay it out there so everybody knows and understands how truly confused I was. With that being said, come on. I’m super thankful for his decision. Had he chosen me, I maybe would’ve never gone on to become the Bachelorette and then ultimately have not met Stephen [Stagliano] and have these two beautiful kids."

DeAnna explained she felt "betrayed" by Brad when he sent her home.
"The one man I trusted the most in the situation betrayed me. He didn’t have to. He could’ve thrown me a bone," she shared.
The Season 4 Bachelorette revealed that producers allowed her to spend the night with Brad off-camera right before proposal day.
She divulged, "We filmed the whole day and once everything shut down, producers came up to me and said, 'Hey, Brad would like to see you. If you would like to stay the night, I’d be happy to take you over there. This is up to you.' I was like, 'Absolutely!' I stayed the night with Brad and we just hung out. We watched the news and he was like laying on the couch with his head on my lap and I was rubbing his hair like a normal couple."
DeAnna continued, "We shut off the TV and he was like, 'What do you think about all of this?' I said, 'I was skeptical coming into all of this, but I genuinely have real feelings for you. I have been 100 percent honest with you about everything that I feel currently and about this entire situation.' He was like, 'What do you think is going to happen when this is all done?’ I said, 'Hopefully we’ll have a relationship and be able to build some faith and trust on that.'"
Then, she revealed, "The next day when my handler came to pick me up, he walked out holding my hand, but he kissed me and said, 'I’ll see you tomorrow.' I said, 'Don’t remind me.' He said, 'Don’t worry. It’s going to be a good day.'"
That day did not go anywhere near as planned for DeAnna. She called their night together a "mindf--k" because of the discrepancy between what Brad said and what actually happened.
She told Becca and Rachel, "I have never been so confused in my life. I go home thinking, 'He told me it’s me. It’s me.' I never truly believed it was Jenni. I love Jenni and I think she’s delightful. We are two totally different people and I thought, 'If it’s her, I feel solid with that because we are so different.' I was true to who I was the entire time. Going into the Rose Ceremony, I felt 99.5 precent solid walking into that."
When she came home, DeAnna only told her sister and aunt about those final days on the show.
She said, "As confused as I was, I wanted everyone to feel those emotions because that’s what I sat in for four and a half months. Aside from death and grief, that was the hardest thing I ever went through."
