Ben Higgins & Jess Clarke Celebrate 6 Months of Engagement
Ben Higgins and his fiancée Jess Clarke hit a milestone in their engagement earlier in the week.
On Monday, Ben and Jess paid tribute to the six-month anniversary of the Season 20 Bachelor getting down on one knee and proposing. Jess posted a slideshow of photos on her Instagram that showed her holding up a "Mrs. Higgins" blanket, one of her walking with her mom looking at wedding venues, and another of Ben mid-proposal.
She wrote, "6 months of being engaged to the love of my life and my best friend forever. Not a lot to report on except for sweet gifts, venue visits, and lots of looking at old pictures."

Ben uploaded a photo and they both have huge smiles on their faces as she carries him in a piggyback ride.
He captioned it, "6 months of engagement to @jessclarke_ ! Im the luckiest, and I will forever have your back! I love you, I like you, I think you are the best! #strongwomen"

Ben proposed March 27 at Jess' home in Franklin, Tennessee with both sets of parents in attendance.

Ben and Jess first went public with their relationship in February 2019 after he said he'd been "selfishly keeping this girl to myself for too long."

Like the millennial love story that it is, Ben slid into Jess' DMs, and the rest is history.
"I took a risk and I am glad I did," he said on Instagram February 20. "She is someone special, and I look forward to where life is going to take us."
