Bachelorette Clare Says the Men on Her Season 'Brought Their A-Game'
Clare Crawley's historic journey as Bachelorette begins Tuesday, October 13, and she's applauding the men who took the massive leap of faith to appear on her season.
On Tuesday, Clare spoke with T.J. Holmes on "Good Morning America" about her upcoming season. Holmes tried to pry some information out of her, but Clare refused to divulge any confidential information or comment on rumors swirling around about her season.
He asked, "Clare, are you currently in love?"
She responded, "I am in love with life right now. Things are really good."
During their chat, the news anchor asked her about what it was like looking for love in the middle of a pandemic and quarantine, and if she felt "blessed for this opportunity."
Clare said, "It was 100 percent a blessing. There was no guarantee for anything in the pandemic. Going into that, being the Bachelorette, there was no security going, 'This is when we're going to do it. This is what we're going to do. This is how we're doing it."
She added, "With the pandemic, there was so much unknown. It was scary, but I'm thankful we were able to do it."
Holmes also inquired about the men who risked it all to travel to Palm Springs, California, to fight for her heart.
Clare expressed, "These men really stepped up. Having that long-awaited time in between — I believe it was almost six months — they really did an excellent job of recasting men that suited me and that were my type. The guys that showed up really brought their A-game. It was an exceptional group of men."
Be sure to tune in to the season premiere of "The Bachelorette," which airs Tuesday, October 13, at 8 p.m. on ABC!
