Jillian Harris' Spooky Cocktail Will Get You in the Mood for Halloween
Halloween is just a few days away, so why not get into the holiday spirit by sipping some specialty cocktails?
Jillian Harris, who constantly blesses Bachelor Nation with food and lifestyle inspiration, did not disappoint when it came to the spookiest day of the year. On Wednesday, the Season 5 Bachelorette posted a photo of a dark cocktail emanating fog (it’s dry ice). She calls it the "Mystical Black Widow" and posted the directions on her blog.
Ingredients for the Mystical Black Widow include gin, lemon juice, cassis, simple syrup, activated charcoal, and ice cubes.

Optional seasonal decorations include plastic spiders.
If you’re looking for a food item to accompany the Mystical Black Widow, Jillian also shared her recipe for her Blood Curdling Black Forest Cake. A typical Black Forest cake features chocolate and cherries, but Jillian went above and beyond with decoration and covered it in marshmallow spiderwebs.
The ghoulish cocktails contrast the colorful and cheerful Halloween costumes she’s donning with her fiancé Justin Pasutto and their kids Annie and Leo. She posted pictures on her Instagram of family costumes they’ve worn over the years, evoking famous films such as "Toy Story" and "Alice in Wonderland."
This year, they opted for "Star Wars."
