5 Reasons Why Chris & Bri from 'Listen to Your Heart' Make Us Believe in True Love
They say actions speak louder than words, but for Chris Watson and Bri Stauss, it’s the words that mean the most.
Chris and Bri met and fell in love on "The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart." They won the first season and have since released their own EP and continue to grow their relationship despite distance and a global pandemic.
The couple will appear on Thursday’s episode of "The Bachelorette" and serenade Clare Crawley on a special and romantic date. In honor of their big return to television and performing, these are five reasons (out of many) why Chris and Bri made us believe in love.
1. Literally any time they sang on 'Listen to Your Heart'
Bri and Chris expressed many of their feelings about the other person through song. On their first one-on-one date, they visited the iconic Guitar Center and sang to each other.
Even the celebrity judges noticed how much they loved each other and commented on it after their performances.
Jordan Rodgers told Bri, "Hold onto that one. The way he looks at you, you can’t fake that. You can’t make that up."
2. They work through the long-distance relationship

Bri is based in Utah while Chris lives in L.A., which means they’re not together all the time. Despite the distance, these two make their relationship work. They work hard at seeing each other often and sharing photos of their date excursions when they reunite.
They told "Bachelor Nation" in August, "We are so glad that we had each other through the pandemic! On the show, we had to trust and rely on one another through some incredibly challenging experiences. This pandemic was something no one could have imagined, but the way we met allowed us to grow stronger while apart."
3. They lift each other up
Chris and Bri are the other person’s biggest cheerleader.
When the couple spoke with "Bachelor Nation," Bri said, "Chris has taught me to believe in myself without holding back. I no longer find myself questioning doubts I’ve held onto for a long time. I have become a stronger version of myself because of him!"
Chris shared, "I’ve lost a lot of the people that loved me most. Through that I learned to cherish every moment, and believe in love for myself. For someone to see my heart the way she does is all I’ve ever hoped for."
When Chris released his new song called "Truth Is," Bri wrote on Instagram, "So proud of who you are and everything you are doing to make your voice be heard. YOU ARE TELLIN EM 👏🏻 Love you babes"
4. They always talk about how grateful they are

Chris wants Bri to know how much he cares for her, and vice versa. He always pens heartfelt Instagram captions about his love. On October 12, for instance, he posted a photo of them and wrote, "You make me smile in my heart ❤️"
He wrote in a September 23 Instagram post, "Life is good baby, I got you lady ♥️Through all the madness 2020 has been, it’s brought me love and I am beyond grateful for that."
5. This performance of 'Can't Help Falling in Love'
The way Chris looks at Bri and the way Bri looks at Chris says it all. They couldn’t help falling in love, and they’re still falling!
Be sure to catch their concert on "The Bachelorette" Thursday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
