Clare & Dale Share Their Plans for the Future
Someone hand Clare Crawley and Dale Moss a pair of sunglasses, because their future looks super bright.
Clare and Dale hit it off immediately when they met the first night of "The Bachelorette," and a few weeks later, they left La Quinta Resort & Spa an engaged couple. The lovebirds joined Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin on a new episode of "Bachelor Happy Hour" and opened up about how their relationship has grown even more since the proposal.
The couple explained on the podcast that they’ve already started looking for homes together in the Sacramento area where Clare lives, mainly to be close to her mother.
Clare told Becca and Rachel, "What I love about Dale is that nothing scares him when talking about the future. I talk about babies all the time, and he’s like, 'Yeah, that’s what I want.' I’ll remind him of things all the time like, 'I’m not getting any younger!'"
Dale added, "This hasn’t been a tough decision of what needs to happen in the future. As long as we’re together, for me, that’s all that matters. Thankfully, we have the ability to be where I need to be. We’re building a life. We’re building a foundation."
He continued, "We want to have a home here and the number one thing is to make sure she’s secure and safe, and to do what’s best for her family. Whatever it is, as long as we’re together, it’s the only thing that matters."
Clare called everything that transpired "unreal," adding, "It’s like, 'Oh, my God, he’s my fiancé.' I love saying it."
Dale said, "This is definitely the best time. Just from the beginning, it’s not uncomfortable to go look at houses. We’re in this to build a future and to build a life. That’s what we’re doing"
Clare explained, "There’s this fear that you see one person on camera and another off camera and they’re like, 'Is he the same person?' I’ve always told people he’s not the same person you see on camera — he’s even better and even more of everything that I wanted."
The 39-year-old expressed that she had a "love at first sight" moment with Dale and she doesn’t regret anything. She shared, "I get that I’m not for everybody. I get that not everybody would do what I did, but at the end of the day, this is all for love."
