What Matt James' Women Are Wishing for Ahead of the 'Bachelor' Season 25 Premiere
To celebrate the landmark 25th season of “The Bachelor,” the contestants vying for Matt James’ heart are revealing what they would wish for if they could have “25 of anything.”
Up first is broadcast journalist Sarah, who declares in a new teaser, “25 roses from Matt!”
Hairstylist MJ says she would choose 25 puppies, while communications manager Bri says she’d go with 25 cupcakes.
Hostess Kaili — who, as seen in several teasers, makes jaws drop on night one when she introduces herself to Matt wearing nothing but a silk robe and lingerie — says, “25 wishes from a genie.”
Like Bri, journalist Carolyn and corporate attorney Lauren just want to satisfy their appetites. While Carolyn is hoping for 25 pizzas, Lauren would like “25 different desserts, because I have a major sweet tooth.”
Marketing director Mari also has food on the brain with her request: “25 different kinds of chocolate.”
Realtor Emani wants to relax with 25 massages, but health food developer Illeana is ready to trot the globe. She’d like “25 different plane tickets to all new places, so I could see the world.”
Airline recruiter (and “Moana” enthusiast) Kimberly says she would like 25 exotic islands, prior to other women revealing more reasonable wants: marketing specialist Sydney asks for 25 bottles of “really nice” red wine and graduate student Pieper petitions for “25 more pairs of shoes.”
But it’s IT consultant Saneh who leaves Bachelor Nation scratching their heads. “25 birds!” she says with a laugh. “That sounds so dumb!”
The clip comes less than a week after an extended “Bachelor” trailer teased what drama fans can expect when the show returns next week. There is gossip among the ladies about a cast member who “may be having a transactional relationship with wealthy men.”

Bank marketing manager Katie says, “I’ve heard two terms going around. I’ve heard ‘sugar baby’ and ‘escort.’”
Elsewhere, self-proclaimed “queen” Victoria seems to emerge as this season’s villain. “The queen has arrived, b--ches!” she says in a confessional.
“Queen Victoria is definitely more of a drama queen,” says copywriter Anna, before Katie claims, “Victoria has been a mean girl since day one.”
See how it all plays out when “The Bachelor” Season 25 premieres Monday, January 4, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
