Caila Quinn Shows Us How to Recreate Her Gorgeous 'Pearl Pony' for New Year’s Eve
New Year’s Eve may look a lot different this year, but Caila Quinn knows one way you can make your at-home celebrations a bit more fabulous.
The Bachelor Nation star — who competed for Ben Higgins’ heart on Season 20 of “The Bachelor” but is now engaged to private equity investor Nick Burrello — headed over to Instagram on Monday to show her followers how to recreate her gorgeous “pearl pony” hairstyle before 2021 hits.
In a tutorial, Caila broke down the ’do — which involves a half-up ponytail embellished with shimmering peal twist pins — in several easy steps.
“So, I’ve already curled my hair. I’m just going to unclip them and brush out any tangles,” she said, detailing part one of the process. “I really do want smooth curls, so next I’m going to use a little hairspray to minimize the frizziness.”
Caila continued, “Once you put your hair in a half-up pony, you’re going to take a small piece of hair out of the ponytail and wrap it around the hair tie, so the hair tie is completely covered. Then you’re going to take some bobby pins and secure that hair in place.”
The fun part comes last, Caila explained. “I just finished my pony and we’re going to add in our twist pins. There’s two different sizes,” she said, before placing the pearls along her scalp.
“I like to add the larger ones towards the back, but you can just kind of get creative. It kind of just floats on your hairline, which is really cute,” the brunette beauty added. “And you can even add them next to your pony and around your pony. And it ends up looking really, really cute.”
