Katie Morton's Self-Care Tips Will Leave You Feeling Stress-Free in 2021
It’s time to put yourself first, Bachelor Nation! If the first three weeks of 2021 have been tough to digest, Katie Morton has some pretty solid self-care tips to help dissolve any anxiety you may have.
In a new Instagram video shared this weekend, the beloved “Bachelor” and “Bachelor in Paradise” alum broke down a few simple ways to steer clear of stress. “Taking care of yourself comes first,” reads the text superimposed over footage of Katie applying skin care products as Olivia Rodrigo’s viral hit “Driver’s License” plays.
The gorgeous California native also reminds her followers to “listen to your body,” “rest your mind,” and “charge your soul” in the clip. Why? “So that there’s always you to come home to,” she explains.
In the spirit of her own advice, Katie — who also keeps an “anti-anxiety notebook” on hand — recently revealed via social media a series of toxic habits she’s leaving behind in 2020 as the new year continues. According to the influencer, she is bidding farewell to “diet culture, explaining myself, playing small, tolerating microaggressions, fear, procrastination,” and the word “should.”
Earlier this month, Katie explained why she prioritizes her well-being and listed various ways in which she does.
“Physical and mental health are very important to me,” she wrote on Instagram. “I’m a big believer in personal growth and I’m always working to become the best version of myself so I make time for therapy, body weight workouts, cooking, and I’m still on the hunt for balance.”
