'Listen to Your Heart' Winners Chris & Bri Split: 'We Will Continue to Support Each Other'
“The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart” winners Chris Watson and Bri Stauss — otherwise known as Chris & Bri — have split after nearly one year of dating. The pair announced the end of their relationship on Tuesday.
“With deep admiration and respect for one another, we have decided to end our relationship and go our separate ways,” the former couple told “E! News” in a joint statement. “We will always look back on our journey with deep fondness, and will continue to support each other both personally and professionally.”
Though Chris and Bri have parted ways romantically, they teased the possibility of more musical collaborations. “We look forward to sharing more updates with you all as we navigate our future making music together,” the duo added. “Thank you all for your love, support and privacy.”
Chris and Bri instantly connected when they met each other on “Listen to Your Heart,” which premiered in April 2020. After being named the victors of the music competition series, the pair released an album together titled “Chris and Bri.”
Last month, they dropped their Christmas LP, “Wrapped Under the Tree,” which features their cheeky holiday single “Santa Claus Stole My Girlfriend.”
In November 2020, Chris and Bri shared how grateful they were to find each other and connect with fans during a year that was challenging for many due to the COVID-19 crisis.
“The pandemic has been tough for all of us,” they wrote on Instagram. “But it is so much better having each other and having each and every one of you!”
