Astrid Loch on Starting a Family with Fiancé Kevin Wendt: 'Yes, Please!'
Astrid Loch and Kevin Wendt took to social media this weekend to express their feelings about one day starting a family together. The beloved Bachelor Nation couple’s revelations came during a candid “True or False”-themed Q&A on Kevin’s Instagram Story.
“I’d like to have four kids,” Kevin said in a video response to a fan who assumed that he and Astrid want “lots” of children.
Kevin then clarified, “Astrid wants three. I want four.” The hunky firefighter — who shares an adorable goldendoodle named Ace with Astrid — jokingly added, “And then maybe one adoption and then three other dogs, so maybe like eight?”
While she might not agree with Kevin’s number, one thing Astrid is certain of is that she’d like to welcome a baby in the near future. “Do we want babies soon?” Kevin asked, reading another question.
Without hesitation, Astrid enthusiastically replied, “Yes, please!”
Her fiancé then implied that he also can’t wait to become a parent. “She said please, so…” he said, trailing off with a huge smile on his face.
Astrid and Kevin — who met and fell in love during the summer of 2018 on Season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise” — have been engaged since August 2019. Though they had plans to tie the knot on November 13, 2020, in Astrid’s native Florida, they were forced to readjust due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the deadly Tropical Storm Eta. Now, they are set to exchange vows this November.
