Chris Lambton Wishes Wife Peyton a Happy Birthday in Sweet Tribute: 'Lucky to Have You'
Best wishes for the birthday girl! Chris Lambton headed over to Instagram on Friday to dedicate a touching tribute to his wife, Peyton Wright Lambton, on her special day.
“Happy Birthday to the best wife, mom, travel buddy and quarantine partner there is @peytonwlambton,” the proud husband wrote alongside a slideshow of photos featuring the couple and their two children: daughter Lyla, 4, and son Hayes, 2.
Chris added, “Love you and lucky to have you by my side!”
Peyton replied to her spouse’s sweet post in his comments section, writing, “Love you babe!”

As fans are well aware, the beloved Bachelor Nation couple — who live in Cape Cod, Massachusetts — didn’t appear together on any shows within the franchise. Their love story began after Peyton’s fellow “Bachelor Pad” contestant Jesse Beck, who was on Ali Fedotowsky’s season of “The Bachelorette” with Chris, introduced the pair years ago at an event in North Carolina. The Lambtons later tied the knot on May 5, 2012, during a romantic ceremony in South Carolina.
When the recap of Ali’s season aired on “The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever!” in the summer of 2020, Peyton thanked the Season 6 lead for “not choosing” Chris via social media.
“Thank you to my amazing husband @chrislambton13 for being exactly who I know you are then and now,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “Thank you to @alifedotowsky for not choosing him and for being so graceful with his exit. Thank you to @chrisbharrison and the entire @bachelorabc @bacheloretteabc franchise for putting this all in motion for us.”
Peyton concluded, “Without the show I’m not sure our paths would have ever crossed.”
