Lesley Murphy Celebrates One-Year Anniversary of Engagement to Alex Kavanagh: 'Most Assured Yes of My Life'
An unforgettable day! Lesley Murphy headed over to Instagram on Thursday to celebrate the one-year anniversary of her engagement to fiancé Alex Kavanagh.
“One year ago today,” the “Bachelor” alum wrote alongside a swipe-through of photos from Alex’s romantic proposal on the beaches of Los Angeles. “The loudest, most assured YES of my life and best decision I’ve ever made.”
She added, “I love you forever and a day.”

Not long after the exciting moment took place on February 4, 2020, Lesley reflected on her journey to finding love with the hunky Australian.
“To anyone struggling to find love, waiting for what seems like forever — keep going,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “Don’t you dare settle. There is someone for you who will celebrate your strengths and love your flaws … Someone who is beautiful inside and out with an accent to match. Someone who chooses you every day, acknowledging all of your many layers.”
Now, a whole year later, Lesley is pregnant and expecting a baby girl with Alex. She and the DRONEGEAR founder recently threw a Zoom baby shower in anticipation of their daughter’s arrival.
“Had our baby shower last weekend and this girl is being showered with so much love already!” Lesley captioned photos from her intimate pink-themed celebration with Alex, which took place virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. “Thanks to everyone who came and jumped on Zoom. Our little fam of 3 is so lucky!”
The mom-to-be announced her baby news with Alex in September. One month later, the couple relocated from Southern California to Lesley’s home state of Arkansas to begin their new life as a family of three.
