Holy 'Schitt’s Creek'! Sarah Trott Leans Into Alexis Rose Comparisons in Hilarious Video
Alexis Rose, is that you?! Following Sarah Trott’s January debut as a contestant on Season 25 of “The Bachelor,” fans were quick to point out her striking resemblance to “Schitt’s Creek” actress Annie Murphy.
Leaning into the frequent comparisons, Sarah channeled her inner Alexis in a hilarious Instagram Reel shared on Wednesday. “THE VIDEO ALL @schittscreek fans have been waiting for!!!! Which outfit is the most Alexis Rose?” she wrote in an accompanying caption.
In the clip, Sarah models several looks inspired by Alexis’ distinct fashion sense while mouthing some of the dramatic Rose daughter’s most popular lines from the Emmy-winning comedy series.
First, Sarah poses in a pink floral crop top with a matching skirt and oversize sunglasses. “Ew, David,” she lips, referring to Alexis’ brother, David Rose, played by actor Dan Levy.
Next, the stunning broadcast journalist dons a tan long-sleeved dress with a black jacket draped over her shoulders. After taking off another pair of large shades, she sassily recites, “That reminds me of that one time in Bali with Leo.”
Elsewhere, Sarah adorns her head with one of Alexis’ signature headbands, which she paired with a white sundress and boho accessories. “David, I was not lost,” she mouths, matching the beloved character’s quick cadence. “The FBI knew where I was the entire time.”
Finally, Sarah rocks a short berry-red dress with matching booties and a black wide-brimmed hat. “Yay, David! Yay!” she faux-exclaims. “Yay!”
