Kit Keenan Treats Bachelor Nation to Her 'Favorite' Guacamole Recipe
Are you ready to dig in, Bachelor Nation? “Bachelor” Season 25 star Kit Keenan headed over to Instagram this week to share a delicious — and unique — guacamole recipe.
“Who can guess the secret ingredient in my favorite guac recipe?” the standout contestant wrote alongside a video clip of her mouthwatering side dish.
Kit went on to share the items needed to make her delicious guac, paired with simple instructions: “Mash 1 ½ avocados and combine with 3 tbs diced red onion, 1/4 cup pineapple, squeeze of lime.”
As for her “secret ingredient”? The fashion entrepreneur’s mother, designer Cynthia Rowley, let it slip in the comments section of her daughter’s post. “Chili crunch??” she wrote.
Kit later confirmed it is indeed chili crunch that elevates her take on the traditional Mexican appetizer. The New York University student revealed that Trader Joe’s chili crunch is her go-to seasoning. “The exact one we are referring to!” Kit commented back. “We are obsessed.”
Kit — who eliminated herself from the competition for Matt James’ final rose on the February 15 episode of “The Bachelor” — previously enjoyed a cooking-themed date with the handsome lead earlier this season.
After her culinary one-on-one with Matt aired, the glamorous New York City native expressed her love for spending time in the kitchen during a “Bachelor Happy Hour” interview with co-hosts Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin.
“People think that my life is like ‘Gossip Girl,’” Kit said. “I’ve gotten the Blair Waldorf thing and I’ve kind of played into it a little bit. But it’s not like I’m going to fashion shows every day. That’s part of my life. The glamorous things, yes, I’ve been able to experience a lot of that. But that doesn’t mean that I’m not down to cook dinner at home.”
She added, “I’m very much an introvert. If I’m not out to events or whatever, I love being at home. I love hanging out in my sweatpants. It’s something that you would only see if you’re one of my friends or someone I’m dating.”
