A rosy read! Desiree Siegfried headed over to Instagram on Tuesday to unveil the cover of her new book, “The Road to Roses,” which is set to hit stores June 22.
“Yay!!!! It’s official! PRE-ORDER of my new book ‘The Road to Roses’ is live!!” the former Bachelorette announced, accompanied by a photo of herself holding her memoir, co-authored with Autumn Krause.
Desiree then teased what to expect from her latest literary project, sharing more insight into her “wild journey.”
“This book means the world to me and is your guide to staying courageous when life doesn’t go as planned, staying open to love after heartbreak and trusting the process no matter the odds,” the wedding dress designer continued. “It has been a wild journey from humble beginnings to a broke, single, 20-something go getter, to bachelorette, to bride, to momma and business owner.”
Elsewhere, Desiree explained that her forthcoming tome delves into her Christian faith and explores God’s impact on her life.
“It hasn’t been easy but the road God took me on was a path of hope, to find a love and strength I never knew I had,” she wrote, revealing aspirations for her story to help others facing similar obstacles.
“My hope is that through my heartbreaks, my mistakes, my journey on reality TV to find my husband and the aftermath of it all, you will find the hope and the strength to keep going when all seems lost, to pick up the pieces of your life and discover a greater purpose,” Desiree elaborated.
The beloved franchise star first became an author in 2013 when she and husband Chris Siegfried co-authored “Diamonds + Hearts.” The “poetic memoir” was released months after the couple’s engagement aired on the Season 9 finale of “The Bachelorette.”
Next, Desiree penned “My Fairytale Wedding: Planning Your Dream Wedding Without Breaking the Bank,” her guide for brides on a budget that hit bookshelves in May 2016. The brunette beauty offered her expertise, as she and Chris exchanged vows the year prior in an elegant winter ceremony in Palos Verdes, California.
Back in February, Desiree — who now shares sons Asher, 4, and Zander, 2, with Chris — expressed her enthusiasm at adding one more book to her list of achievements as a writer. Again, she thanked God for the opportunity to share more of herself with fans.
“To share your story is to share HIStory,” she wrote at the time. “His story intertwines in every high and every low of our lives and it’s a beautiful thing to look back and see all the places God was working, comforting or providing when I didn’t even know what was next.”
According to Desiree, “With every pre-order you will receive an e-book of poetry I wrote during many tough times to go along with the chapters of the book,” which she described as a “dream come true.” Learn more about “The Road to Roses” here.
