So Long, Side Parts and Skinny Jeans! DeAnna Pappas Steps Out for Date Night in a Gen Z-Inspired Look
She fits right in! DeAnna Pappas took to Instagram on Thursday to show off a stylish look inspired by Gen Z, which she wore for a date night with husband Stephen Stagliano at The Grove in Los Angeles.
“The kids say it’s cool to not wear skinny jeans, have a middle part, & heels,” wrote the Season 4 Bachelorette, 39, noting the younger generation’s distaste for tight denim and side-parted hair, which has been made apparent in a series of recent viral TikToks.
“I tried it,” DeAnna jokingly added. “I unbuttoned the top button as soon as we got in the car. Stupid jeans.”
Fellow former Bachelorette Desiree Siegfried gave her seal of approval in the comments section of DeAnna’s post. “You look hot!!” the Season 9 lead wrote in support.
(We’re sure Stephen thought the same of DeAnna’s youthful ensemble.)
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
DeAnna — who married Stephen, the brother of “Bachelorette” Season 5 alum Michael Stagliano, in October 2011 — frequently shares sweet snaps from dates with her hubby via social media.
On January 22, the couple — who share daughter Addison, 7, and son Austin, 5 — indulged in a cozy night in at their Southern California home, drinking wine and watching TV. And on January 20, the pair enjoyed a daytime outing in which they ate fast food together in their car.
During an August 2020 interview with Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin for their “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, DeAnna explained why she is grateful for her marriage with Stephen.
“I’m not saying our marriage is perfect. We have definitely weathered some serious storms, and I am thankful to be where we are now to think we have come out the other side,” DeAnna said at the time. “That’s the beautiful thing about marriage. We are committed to each other and our family and making things work, and that’s deep down below the dirt.”
She added, “I think that’s the beautiful thing that I never felt before I met Stephen, that I would find a partner that would fight for us.”
