Bryan Abasolo Says Wife Rachel Lindsay's 'Ambition' Inspires Him to Be a 'Better Man'
On this week’s episode of “Talking It Out,” Bryan Abasolo gushed over wife Rachel Lindsay and explained how her “ambition” inspires him to be a “better man.”
“My wife makes me a better man. She makes me want to hustle that much more for my goals,” Bryan told co-host Mike Johnson and guest Tammy Ly of his multihyphenate spouse. “When I’m seeing her do all these things, I’m like, ‘S--t! I gotta get on my horse.’ It just pushes me. And I love it. One of my favorite aspects of my wife is her ambition.”
As fans of Rachel are aware, she maintains a multitude of jobs. She serves as an on-air host for “Extra” and co-hosts her popular “Higher Learning” podcast alongside Van Lathan. In addition to being an attorney and a college speaker, the former Bachelorette recently announced another title to her packed résumé: author. Rachel plans to release “Miss Me with That,” a collection of essays, in 2022.
Meanwhile, Bryan is a licensed chiropractor in Florida and California, as well as a certified nutrition specialist and personal trainer. He founded the Miami Disc & Laser Therapy Center, where he helped patients with debilitating neck and back pain improve their quality of life with non-surgical and drug-free treatments.
After relocating from his native Miami to live with Rachel in Los Angeles this year, Bryan told Mike and Tammy that he is in the process of rebuilding his practice “from scratch” on the West Coast.
“There’s sometimes a stereotype where the guy is always moving around and the woman is just going to follow him. But it actually was opposite for us,” he said. “She’s in the entertainment business. Where else are you going to do that besides L.A.? Miami just didn’t have the market size on a national level, so she had to be in L.A.”
The handsome doctor — who wed Rachel in August 2019 after falling in love on “The Bachelorette” Season 13 in 2017 — added, “Luckily, I am able to practice anywhere I want. I can go to any state and just get a license. I had more wiggle room. I wanted this relationship to work and you have to be in the same place if you want to grow together and raise a family, which is what we wanted to do.”
