Sarah Herron Talks Future Wedding Plans and Reveals Whether Fiancé Ever Watched Her on 'The Bachelor'
Sarah Herron stopped by “Bachelor Happy Hour” and chatted with Becca Kufrin and guest co-host Catherine Lowe about accepting a “perfect” proposal from fiancé Dylan Brown this month.
During her interview, the Bachelor Nation star — who appeared on “The Bachelor” Season 17 in 2013 and two subsequent seasons of “Bachelor in Paradise” — explained that she is looking forward to a “long engagement” with the handsome filmmaker.
“We’ve talked a little bit about it and we’re kind of all across the board, to be honest,” Sarah said, describing the couple’s approach to wedding planning. “We’re like, ‘Oh, something small in our own town would be great.’ And then we’re like, ‘Heck, let’s go to Mexico.’ All we do know is we want a long engagement.”
Sarah said that she and Dylan are holding off on trying the knot because of their busy lives. Currently, the couple are going through in vitro fertilization (IVF) in the hope of conceiving a child in the near future. They are also focused on building a home together in Colorado.
“It’s just a lot and there’s no reason to rush any of it. I want to be able to give enough time to each one of these chapters of life because I think they’re going to be so impactful. We’re going to remember them for our whole lives, so I don’t really want to overlap them,” Sarah said. “I want each one to have its time and space and to be present for each chapter. So, I’m here for a long engagement. I don’t really care.”
Elsewhere, the SheLift founder revealed whether Dylan has ever watched her appearances within the Bachelor franchise.
“He hasn’t. But he’s watched seasons with me now,” Sarah said, telling Becca that she and Dylan were avid viewers of her “Bachelorette” season in 2018. “He watched your season with me, and he likes to have his commentary from the other room when I’m watching. But he does not want to see my stuff.”
She elaborated, “He’s like, ‘I don’t need to see you with another guy.’ He gets all kind of weird about it… I do try and push stuff at him every once in a while, and he’s like, ‘I don’t want to see that.’”
