Pregnant Lauren Bushnell Lane Has Been 'Doing Everything' to Induce Labor
The final stretch! Pregnant Lauren Bushnell Lane — who is expecting a baby boy with husband Chris Lane — is due to give birth any day now.
The Bachelor Nation star took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday to let it be known that she is trying a series of tricks to induce labor as she nears the end of her pregnancy.
“OK y’all I’m about 39 weeks and this little guy was lower but now I feel like he’s higher and I’m panicked LOL. Any tips to naturally induce labor? I’m worried he’s gonna get too big!” she wrote.
“I have been walking, gardening, I mean, like long walks, eating dates, raspberry leaf tea,” Lauren said in a video clip on a subsequent slide. “I’ve been doing squats. I’ve been eating lots of spicy food. What did I have last night? I had a spicy fried chicken sandwich. Spicy pickles yesterday [too].”
She added, “I mean, I feel like I’ve been doing everything. But if there’s a secret out there that I don’t know, please message me. Please!”
Later, Lauren’s country singer hubby shared a funny video clip of his expectant wife bouncing on an exercise ball while digging into a bowl of banana pudding — yet another tactic to help her bundle of joy make his debut.
In a follow-up post on his Instagram page, Chris uploaded footage of Lauren dancing with their dog. According to the musician, he and Lauren were hopeful that her moves would also move their son along.
“I’m mostly concerned over the sock choice in this video,” he wrote, jokingly acknowledging Lauren’s long white socks paired with sandals. “We are doin walks, dances, spicy food you name it to get this little man out ...HELP.”

Lauren and Chris’ posts come days after the couple took fans inside their Nashville home’s dreamy nursery. “My new favorite room in the house,” Lauren enthused via Instagram on May 24. “It’s even more magical than I imagined.”
Lauren and Chis — who tied the knot in October 2019 — announced their pregnancy in December.
