It was written in the stars! Alicia Mae Holloway headed over to social media on Wednesday to share her incredible adoption story — which, as she explained in a chills-inducing Instagram Reel, involved the unlikely help of a psychic.

“Way back in the ’90s, my mom and my dad wanted to have a baby,” began the Bachelor Nation alum, who competed for Matt James’ heart on Season 25 of “The Bachelor.” “My mom unfortunately couldn’t have kids anymore, so they decided to go the adoption route.”

Alicia said that her parents got “really close” to adopting a child before the birth mom decided to keep her baby at the last minute. Years later, in 1995, the West Virginia couple gave it another shot after Alicia’s mom consulted a clairvoyant.

“I grew up very Christian, very religious,” Alicia noted. “My mom started seeing a psychic, which is kind of like, ‘What the hell?’ It was a little out of the ordinary. But my mom saw a psychic and this psychic was in Fairmont, West Virginia, a super small random town like 30 minutes away from where I grew up.”

The ballet dancer — who lives in New York City as an adult — said that the psychic gave her mom a “random” address during one of their appointments. “And she was like, ‘Go to this address I gave you,’” Alicia said. “It was in Washington, Pennsylvania, which is like 45 minutes away from where I grew up. And she was like, ‘That’s where you will find your baby.’”

The franchise star said that while her father was apprehensive, her parents ultimately made the cross-state trip.

“They ended up going and they show up and it’s this really sketchy, really random warehouse,” she said. “They walk into the warehouse and it’s like a meeting where people were talking about their problems. And my mom and dad are like, ‘OK, I guess we should stay.’”

When one woman stood up to speak, Alicia’s parents knew they had come to the right place.

“So, this white Italian lady raised her hand, and she was like, ‘OK, so I am white, I am married to a white man, I have three white kids. I slept with a Black guy. I cheated on my husband, slept with a Black guy, and now I’m pregnant. And the baby’s clearly not going to be white. So, I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to have an abortion. I want to give the baby up for adoption,’” Alicia said. “My mom and dad looked at each other and they were like, ‘Holy s--t. There’s our baby.’”

Once the meeting ended, Alicia said her parents approached the woman to explain their situation and exchange contact information. “That’s kind of how they started the process of adopting me,” she said. “It’s so crazy how God and the universe — whatever you believe in — [worked]. Everything happens for a reason. That’s how they found me.”

While Alicia knew she was adopted from a very young age, the talented performer was unaware that a psychic assisted her parents in their search for another child — until she turned 17.

“Once I was 17, my dad told me. I met my biological mother two weeks after I found all of this out,” Alicia said, adding that she also discovered her mom had sent her daughter’s biological mother photos and updates throughout the years. “My mom would send a school picture or a dance picture of me, which is really sweet of her. My biological mom watched me grow up, which is something super cool when I had no idea.”

Describing her first meeting with her biological mother, Alicia said, “She’s such a sweet lady, such a sweetheart… It was the day before I turned 18 that I met her, being like, ‘Oh my God, I can see the similarities between us.’ So, that was really cool.”

After that, Alicia became focused on tracking down her biological father as well. “The day before I turned 18, I found out his name, would search him all the time, never really got anywhere with that until literally 14 months ago,” she said. “I was in the middle of quarantine, I woke up one morning, and I just Googled his name into a bunch of websites. I was like a detective.”

Eventually, Alicia found her biological father and connected with him via Facebook. She soon discovered that she had five other siblings — four sisters and a brother. “We all have the same biological father, but different biological mothers and I am very, very thankful,” she said. “I’m obsessed with all my siblings and it’s incredible that I got to gain all my siblings, but also I got to gain another father figure in my life, which is really special.”

Alicia concluded her video by acknowledging how “very lucky and very blessed” she is for the way her adoption story played out: “I know that not everybody’s story is so happy and great.”
