Ben then detailed the synopsis. “Jo, Marty & Flynn are a trio of airport-dwelling flies who love to travel!” he wrote. “Determined to discover new people, places, languages, and foods, they board commercial flights bound for international destinations and grand adventures.”
The franchise star explained that “Frequent Flyers” is “aimed at introducing children to globe-trotting at a young age.” He elaborated, “The ‘Frequent Flyers’ series teaches kids to be confident in travel, welcome foreign cultures, and learn from their experiences.”
Intended to be a series, Ben noted that Jo, Marty, and Flynn discover the magic of Paris, France, in Volume 1 — “where they eat French pastries, learn basic French words, visit the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower, hatch a plan for safety, meet new friends, and so much more!”

Elsewhere, Ben — whose career has spanned winemaking, marketing, and more — revealed the inspiration behind his fun literary project.
“I love to tell the story of how this series began,” he wrote. “In a serendipitously inspired a-hah! moment, I was boarding a plane one day, when I noticed an insect fly into the cabin, and thought to myself, where are you headed, little guy? Wanting to impart a love for travel within my beloved three-year-old niece, Josephine, at a young age, I created the ‘Frequent Flyers’ series based on a trio of globe-trotting flies.”
