Joe Amabile & Natasha Parker Share Behind-the-Scenes Scoop from Filming 'Paradise' Season 7
Joe Amabile and Natasha Parker are officially back co-hosting “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” after taking time off to film “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 7.
Following Thursday’s cast announcement, Joe and Natasha shared some fun behind-the-scenes scoop from the beach with Tayshia Adams.
“OK, so let’s just get right into it. I wasn’t expecting to be [part of] the original cast,” said Joe, who previously appeared on “Paradise” Season 5 in 2018 after competing for Becca Kufrin’s final rose on “The Bachelorette” Season 14.
“I forgot all of what ‘Paradise’ is about and it is a wild ride — and this season is insane. It really is,” added the handsome Chicago native, who met his now-ex-girlfriend Kendall Long during his first stint in “Paradise.” “It’s almost, like, every day got more and more intense. But we can’t really break everything down.”
Natasha — who fans first got to know on Peter Weber’s Season 24 of “The Bachelor” in 2020 — said that she leaned on Joe throughout her “Paradise” experience.
“We can’t break everything down, but I will say that multiple times I went over to Joe. Joe was like our ‘Paradise’ guru because he had been there before,” she said. “So, I’m like, ‘Joe, is this what happens?’ He goes, ‘It wasn’t like this my season.’ I was like, ‘Really?’ Because we just didn’t know.”
Natasha continued, “So he had this idea coming into it and then it was just completely just different. It was different. I will say that.”
Joe went on to say that “a lot of unexpected happenings” occurred during Season 7: “You just never knew and something was always going on.”
Joe also gave props to Wells Adams, who reprised his bartending duties in addition to presiding over all Rose Ceremonies.
“I do have to say, Wells, in my opinion, should be the full-time host. He did a great job,” he said of his pal's expanded role. “Wells did the Rose Ceremonies as well as the bartending and he was great.”
Joe elaborated, “It was very important for me that he was there because I had somebody who has experience, and I was able to go and talk to Wells a lot. And he always makes me laugh.”
“Bachelor in Paradise” — which features a rotating lineup of celebrity co-hosts, including Wells, David Spade, Lance Bass, Tituss Burgess, and Lil Jon — premieres Monday, August 16, on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
