Wells Adams Celebrates 2 Years of Being Engaged to Sarah Hyland: 'Can We Get Married Already?'
Time flies when you’re in love! Wells Adams took to Instagram on Wednesday to celebrate two years of being engaged to fiancée Sarah Hyland.
“Asking you to marry me 2 years ago was the best decision ever,” wrote the Bachelor Nation alum, accompanied by a stunning photo of the “Modern Family” actress posing in Paris. “This is my favorite picture I’ve ever taken of you.”
He added, “Can the world calm down just a bit so we can get married already? Love you most @sarahhyland.”

Wells and Sarah were forced to postpone their original ceremony — which was set to take place in August 2020 — due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
As Wells explained during a January appearance on the “Click Bait” podcast, Sarah was diagnosed with kidney dysplasia as a child and has since had two kidney transplants. As a result, she is at a higher risk of severe disease if she contracts COVID-19.
Wells noted that he and Sarah had tentative plans to exchange vows this summer if the health crisis palliated.
“We had to push it the first time around. That was tough. And then the thought is that we’re just pushing it to this year. We’re hoping it’s going to be in the summer. If this thing continues and we’re not able to do it, it’s going to be [at the] courthouse — or I’m really pushing for Vegas, powder blue suits, Elvis being the officiant,” he said at the time, later asserting, “We’re getting married this year. I just don’t know how that looks.”
Wells proposed to Sarah in July 2019 after nearly two years of dating. The sitcom star became enamored with the reality TV personality — and frequently tweeted about him — during his time on “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2016, eventually catching his attention. The two quickly got to know each other through DMs, text messages, and FaceTime calls before having their first real date at an Emmys party in 2017.

In a Wednesday post of her own, Sarah paid tribute to her thriving romance with Wells.
“2 years engaged, almost 1 year of ‘would have been married,’” she captioned a photo of the pair kissing after their beachside engagement. “but forever in love with you.”
Happy anniversary, Wells and Sarah!
