Serena Chew Takes Bachelor Nation Inside Her 'Amazing' Trip to Guyana
Hot on the heels of her announcement as a cast member of “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 7, Serena Chew took to Instagram on Thursday to give fans a glimpse inside her “amazing” — albeit very short — trip to Guyana.
“30 hour layover in Georgetown, Guyana!” wrote the New York City-based flight attendant, who appeared on Matt James’ Season 25 of “The Bachelor” earlier this year. “I didn’t have very many recommendations from y’all, but still had an amazing time.”
Serena then summarized her itinerary, accompanied by a video montage of her time in the capital city of the stunning South American nation.
“I flew from LGA through MIA to GEO with the funniest & nicest coworker @mzluvflying and she had mutual friends who lived in Guyana, they took us around the marketplace on the center street where they had a TON of cute clothes but unfortunately did not have my size in anything,” she wrote, adding that the area reminded her of Los Angeles’ fashion district.
“Lunch from @kronosgrill and had the chicken & shrimp over curried rice and it was AMAZING, but the best part of the meal was the side of sweet mashed potatoes. idk what they put into it but it had like sweet cream in it,” Serena enthused of the eatery’s culinary offerings.
Later, the travel enthusiast stopped by Georgetown’s scenic waterfront before ending the night with “some drinks at the Pegasus hotel restaurant!”
“We didn’t have time but the main attractions are hiking and the Kaieteur Waterfall,” Serena concluded. “Save this if you plan on visiting!”
Will do, girl! Check out Serena’s fun-filled day in Guyana below.
