Pieper James Posts ‘Clarification’ About Her Relationship with Brendan Morais After Leaving ‘Paradise’
Pieper James and Brendan Morais have been at the center of the drama on “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 7 after it was revealed they seemingly went on the show for exposure after spending time together prior to filming.
Fans saw Brendan develop a connection with Natasha Parker as soon as “Paradise” began, but the minute Pieper arrived, she and Brendan went on a date and quickly locked down their relationship.
This confirmed their fellow castmates’ speculation that the couple had a relationship prior to “Paradise,” which fans have been documenting on social media since around April of this year.
Brendan and Pieper were also seen on the beach having conversations about fame, social media followers, articles written about them, and money they could potentially make from the exposure on the show.
Eventually, this led to a group of their “Paradise” castmates confronting them about why they were there if they were already in a relationship. While the couple argued that there aren’t any “rules” in “Paradise” and that they weren’t exclusive before the show, they eventually left the show together to pursue their relationship off the beach.
Since fans have watched all of this unfold, Brendan and Pieper have actually lost thousands of followers on social media, contrary to the discussions we saw on the beach.
People have been weighing in online, writing things like, “If you met before Paradise and you’re interested in each other, don’t come to Paradise.”

And while Brendan and Pieper have both apologized to Natasha over the past week, Pieper took to social media again to address fans after she and Brendan left the beach together.
In an Instagram Story shortly after this week’s “BIP” aired, Pieper doubled down on her and Brendan’s story, writing, “As my time on Paradise concludes, I would like to clear one one final point of contention. Amidst everything that’s been happening on and off screen, Brendan and I were not in an exclusive relationship in any capacity before filming.”
Fellow “Bachelor in Paradise” stars also weighed in on all the drama, with Demi Burnett saying in her Stories that she will always have Natasha’s back, posting, “Brendan was essentially using Natasha the entire time and was very disrespectful.”
Deandra Kanu agreed, adding that she’s here for “girls supporting girls.”

Noah Erb also took to his IG Stories to react to the episode, revealing that he somehow missed a lot of this drama going down, writing, “Me watching Bachelor in Paradise like it’s the first time and genuinely confused on what’s going on and where I was.”
Regardless of what everyone on both sides is saying, Brendan and Pieper have officially left the beach and Natasha received a rose from bartender Wells Adams for a second chance at finding love in “Paradise.”
We’ll have to stay tuned for the rest of the season to see how everything else unfolds!
