Fans first met Desiree Hartsock Siegfried on Season 17 of “The Bachelor.” While things didn’t work out between Desiree and Sean Lowe, Des went on to be the Season 9 Bachelorette.

Throughout the ups and downs of her journey as “The Bachelorette,” Chris Siegfried continued to show up for Des regardless of what happened with the other men.

She eventually gave Chris her final rose and got emotional as she spoke to him on the last day of her journey.

During the final episode, Desiree told Chris, “The one thing I needed has always been right in front of me. You’ve always been by my side from the very beginning. You never lost sight of what we could be, and for that I am so grateful. I thank you every day for never giving up, and you mean the absolute world to me. I love you. I love you so much.”

Chris proposed and the two got married in January 2015. As their love has continued to grow, so has their family.

The fan favorite couple shares two children together, Asher Wrigley and Zander Cruz.

And this week in Bachelor Nation history, Des and Chris’ first son Asher was born!

Asher was born October 19, 2016, and Des and Chris shared the exciting news with Bachelor Nation on social media.

At the time, Desiree posted this sweet photo of Asher’s little hand, writing, “He already has us wrapped around his precious little fingers! ❥❥❥ We are overjoyed to welcome the newest addition to our family, Asher Wrigley Siegfried. Born yesterday, (10/19) happy, healthy and strong!”

And a couple weeks later, she shared the first full photo of their baby boy, writing, “Our precious Asher is two weeks old now and I can’t believe how fast those weeks just flew by!! I find myself just staring at him in awe of who he already is and what a blessing he is to our lives.”

Since then, they’ve continued to share Asher’s “firsts” with the world, like his first trip, his first World Series, and more.

We also got a glimpse at Asher’s first time meeting his little brother Zander when he was born in 2019.
