EXCLUSIVE: Peyton & Chris Lambton Share Their Favorite Family Holiday Traditions!
Celebrate the holidays with Bachelor Nation!
Fans first met Peyton Lambton on Season 10 of “The Bachelor” and Chris Lambton on Season 6 of “The Bachelorette.”
Peyton later went on to appear on the very first season of “Bachelor Pad” and after she went home, she connected with fellow Bachelor Nation star Chris.
The two have been together ever since, and the Bachelor Nation stars tied the knot in May 2012.
Since then, they’ve welcomed two children into the world: Lyla, 5, and Hayes, 2.
Now, the Bachelor Nation couple is sitting down exclusively with BachelorNation.com to share their favorite family holiday traditions — including a tradition they hope their kids carry on.
Check out their full interview below!
Bachelor Nation: We love catching up with our Bachelor Nation families! We hope you two are having a great holiday season so far. What are some special holiday traditions you do with your family each year?
Chris Lambton: Thank you so much! Peyton loves dressing the entire family in matching holiday pajamas for Christmas morning. We look AMAZING!
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
BN: Agreed, matching pajamas are the best! Do you have a favorite tradition?
CL: Christmas morning Bloody Caesars. It was my mom’s favorite drink and she always had one on Christmas morning, so I am carrying on the tradition. It is a Lambton secret recipe!
BN: Yum, that sounds delicious! Is there any chance you could share that secret recipe with us?
CL: Okay, fine! You asked for the secret Lambton Bloody Caesar recipe... Here it is:
- Vodka
- Clamato juice
- Worcestershire sauce, a few drops
- Horseradish, a teaspoon or tablespoon depending on how spicy
- Celery salt
- Pepper
- Cholula sauce
- 1/4 lime
- Garnish with celery stalk, stuffed olives, bacon strip
- Enjoy!
BN: Your secret recipe is safe with us… Are there any new traditions you’d like to incorporate this year?
Peyton Lambton: Growing up, we used to go cut down our own Christmas tree and now that our kids are old enough, we are going to start that tradition again. I hope it doesn’t end up like the Griswolds in “Christmas Vacation”!
BN: That sounds like a special new tradition you can continue for many, many years. Is there one tradition you hope your kids/future kids carry on with their future families?
PL: I hope our kids are as family-oriented as we are and know that the holiday season is about being with family. That’s our favorite part, and I hope it’s theirs as well.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
BN: How sweet! How do you maximize your time with your families during the holidays?
CL: We try to take time off from work, slow down, and be more present at home. Our kids are the perfect age to really enjoy Christmas and we need to make sure we soak it all in.
BN: So true, soak it all up! What are you most excited about this holiday season?
PL: Getting together with friends and family!!!!
BN: Of course! And last but not least, do you have any New Year’s resolutions as a family
CL: Go on more family adventures!
