Caelynn Miller-Keyes & Dean Unglert Introduce Their New Dog Alastor After Losing Pappy
Bachelor Nation stars Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes found love on Season 6 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since then, their relationship has stood the test of time and the couple have been traveling the world together. Earlier this year, they even bought a house together in Las Vegas and have discussed potential wedding plans.
As their lives grew together, Dean and Caelynn welcomed a third travel buddy into their little family, their senior rescue dog Pappy.
Unfortunately, in November 2021, Pappy passed away after countless adventures with the Bachelor Nation couple.

At the time, in a joint Instagram post, the couple shared videos of Pappy frolicking and cuddling and wrote, “Today was one of the hardest days of our lives. Today our sweet little man left our earth. He took his final breaths in the arms of his loving mother. We weren’t there for the beginning, or the middle of his life, but we were there for what we believe to be the most important part; the end.”
And now, the couple just announced that they’ve opened their hearts again to another pup after Pappy’s passing.
Caelynn shared photos of the two of them with their new family member, writing, “We’re back to being dog parents. Meet Alastor Moody.”

She also took to Instagram to share adorable videos of Alastor jumping on his hind legs getting excited for food and snuggling with her, writing, “He’s so sweet and cuddly.”
Many of Dean and Caelynn’s fellow Bachelor Nation stars took to the comments of her post to share their love for Alastor.
Elyse Dehlbom wrote, “So happy for you two!”
Jared Haibon commented, “MAD EYE MOODY!!!!”
And Becca Tilley simply wrote, “I love him!”
We couldn’t agree more, and we are so happy for Dean and Caelynn! We know they are going to give this new pup the best life ever — they are such incredible dog parents!
