EXCLUSIVE: Jen Saviano Celebrates Her First Mother’s Day with Bachelor Nation!
Celebrating Mother’s Day!
Bachelor Nation fan favorite Jen Saviano became a mom last month in April 2022 when she and her boyfriend Landon Ricker welcomed their son Wilder into their lives.
Since welcoming Wilder, Jen has been sharing her and Landon’s life as new parents on social media with her hundreds of thousands of followers.
And now, Jen is stopping by to chat with BachelorNation.com exclusively about her very first Mother’s Day.
Check out Jen’s full interview below!
Bachelor Nation: Happy Mother’s Day, Jen, and congrats on your beautiful baby boy! What has life been like since welcoming Wilder?
Jen Saviano: Thank you so much! It’s been chaotic, exhausting, and amazing all at once.
BN: I’m sure! What has surprised you most about motherhood?
JS: The postpartum healing journey — people don’t seem to talk about this part. I wasn’t expecting it to be as rough as it has been! Oh, and the amount of diapers one child needs. It’s truly shocking.

BN: Absolutely! What is your favorite part of motherhood so far?
JS: My favorite part of motherhood is that every day gets better and better. Everything gets a little easier, less painful, and more joyful. I just stare at Wilder all day every day. He’s perfection, and I’ll forever be in awe.
BN: So sweet! How would you say motherhood has changed you?
JS: I’m definitely more feisty with Internet trolls — specifically those that try to tell me how to parent. Mama bear won’t be putting up with mama police! I’ll always stay true to myself and do what’s best for me and my baby.
BN: That’s the way to do it! Are there any milestones in particular you’re looking forward to with Wilder?
JS: All of them! The biggest one coming up would be him eating solid foods. I can’t wait to cook for him.
BN: Yes, that will be so exciting! What does being a mom mean to you?
JS: I’ve always wanted to be a mother; I just didn’t know if or when it would happen. This has been such an unexpected blessing, and it’s my favorite (and most important) role I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to do life with my little man.

BN: That’s incredible. We’re so, so happy for you! What do you hope to teach Wilder as he grows up?
JS: To always love and trust himself.
BN: And do you have any advice for fellow new parents?
JS: Try not to control your way through motherhood. It’s easy to do when we’re fearfully jumping into the unknown — but the journey is more fun when you trust your gut and learn as you go.
BN: That’s some great advice. Lastly, would you ever let Wilder watch your Bachelor Nation journey one day?
JS: Oh, absolutely!
BN: So fun! Congrats again, Jen, and happy first Mother’s Day!
