Bachelor Nation star Wells Adams is gearing up to marry his fiancée Sarah Hyland!

The two got engaged in July 2019, and after multiple wedding postponements due to COVID, they’re finally preparing to tie the knot.

Now, Wells stopped by for an exclusive chat with BachelorNation.com about all things wedding planning.

If you follow Wells and Sarah on social media, you know that they have been sharing their stunning engagement photos with fans.

During our chat, Wells wanted to clear the air about some of the comments on those posts.

He said, “One thing I would like to address is every time we post an engagement photo, we get a lot of comments of people being angry at us saying things like ‘Just go ahead and get married already’ or ‘What are you waiting for, the pandemic is over?!’”

Wells explained, “What’s frustrating about it is, while that’s all well and good, we found this venue that we love and we booked it, so we don’t want to lose that money. Of course we could just go to the courthouse, but we put this deposit down and we want to get married at our venue.”

Wells also shared with us some of his favorite parts of the wedding-planning process.

Wells said, “In terms of wedding planning, it’s been a lot, but it’s also been really fun. There are some things that I didn’t know I would like so much. I really enjoyed the curation of the meal. That was really fun figuring out what we wanted to eat and cake tasting was also really fun.”

He also added, “I am really excited about everything on our menu. We went a little truffle heavy! But there are some special things like from restaurants that we love and so there are some things that are specific to us.”

Wells also recently shared photos from his bachelor party in Mexico where fellow Bachelor Nation stars Ben Higgins and Derek Peth were in attendance.

He revealed how Bachelor Nation would be included in his wedding, saying, “There are a bunch of people from Bachelor Nation that are going to be there. For my groomsmen, it’s just family. But there will be a lot of Bachelor family in attendance for sure!”

And as Wells and Sarah approach their big day, he shared what he learned from the process.

Wells said, “I learned that we never want to do this again. Planning a wedding is tough. Every time I’ve ever talked to anyone they always say to just go to France and elope and that they wish they did that. Now that we’re doing it, I totally get it. But I’m really glad we’re doing this because we have a lot of people in our lives that love us and this is a long time coming for everyone. It will be a fun party for everyone!”
