Bachelor Nation fans saw Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes’ relationship unfold on Season 6 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”

The two ended up leaving the beach together to continue their relationship in the outside world, and they’ve been going strong ever since.

If you’ve been keeping up with the Bachelor Nation couple, you know that over the past three years of their relationship, they’ve talked about getting married and what that will look like for them.

Earlier this year in April, Caelynn opened up about Dean saying he wants her to propose to him.

At the time, she said, “When Dean first said that, I thought maybe it was just another thing Dean was saying to break the mold. Sometimes he says things just for a reaction and he’ll admit that. But the more I thought about it, the more I loved it.”

She went on, “Traditionally, he would propose to me, but that means it’d be an experience he doesn’t get. It would be a day that’s catered to him and he’d get that special moment where he’s really thought of. So I love the idea of planning a special moment that’s all about him. After I really thought about it, I am really into it. We’re in a partnership, we both should be proposed to!”

And in June 2022, Dean revealed that they were looking at engagement rings.

Now, on a recent episode of his podcast “Help, I Suck at Dating,” Dean shared that he already has a plan to propose.

While marriage isn’t important to Dean, he knows it’s important to Caelynn.

On his podcast, he said, “I’m already going to spend the rest of my life with her anyway. Do I want to get married? Not really, but if she wants it, why not just do it?”

He also shared why he has been hesitant about marriage in the past saying, “My parents had a really poor marriage, especially when I was old enough to realize what was going on, so I never had a good example of what marriage looked like. I am also a contrarian to my core, and everyone expects you to get married just inherently makes me anti that idea.”

But he is planning on proposing and said, “I know when I’m doing it and where I’m doing it. My money’s on me doing it first.”

And Dean also shared his vision for their wedding, saying, “We’re gonna elope, I hope. That’s my dream.”

Caelynn echoed this sentiment in one of her YouTube videos, saying, “When we went to Lake Como in Italy last summer, I was like, ‘This is the place,’ and we’ve talked about it since. It would be hard to get our family out there, so we’d definitely want to keep it small, maybe like 15 people max. So we’d just have to face the challenge of getting everyone there.”
