Aven Reveals He Still Doesn’t Know Who Nominated Him for ‘The Bachelorette’
Reveal yourself!
Bachelor Nation fans have been watching Aven and Rachel’s love story unfold on Season 19 of “The Bachelorette.”
And while Aven has been watching his journey of falling in love back each week, he’s still unsure of how he ended up on the show in the first place.
As fans know, there are multiple ways to get cast on Bachelor Nation shows. People can nominate themselves, they can attend a casting, someone else can nominate them, and more.
For Aven, he was nominated by someone in his life and despite making it to the very end of “The Bachelorette,” he still doesn’t know who it was.
Aven stopped by the “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” podcast and opened up to co-hosts Joe Amabile, Natasha Parker and Tia Booth about the casting process.

He said, “I got nominated anonymously, so I still to this day don’t know who nominated me. I still don’t know. Every time I hang out with a group of friends or family members, I’m always looking around the room trying to figure out which one of them was it.”
Aven said he randomly received a phone call and that’s how he knew he was in the running to get cast on this season.
He said, “I got contacted by the show and had some conversations with my parents asking if they thought it was a good idea. I ended up going through the process and now I’m here.”
And before he made the final decision to give “The Bachelorette” a try, he consulted his parents to see what they thought.
Aven said, “My dad wasn’t into the show, but my mom had caught a couple seasons. She thought it was fake and couldn’t be real, but now they’ve seen.”
