Aaron Clancy Reveals He’s in a Relationship and Discusses His New Girlfriend: ‘I’m the Happiest I’ve Been’
Love is in the air!
Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Aaron Clancy on Season 17 of “The Bachelorette” and Seasons 7 and 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
While love didn’t work out for Aaron on-screen, he just stopped by the “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” podcast and revealed he recently found love off-screen.
Aaron co-hosted this week’s episode with Joe Amabile and opened up about his new relationship.
The Bachelor Nation star said, “I don’t want to say anything too official right now, but I am seeing someone. Things are going really well. I am super happy, actually. I’m probably the happiest I’ve been. We met through a friend of a friend.”
Aaron gushed about his new girlfriend, saying, “She is super talented. I don’t want to give too much away, but she’s an artist. You might not know her, but you should! I’ll be in the front row. I’m her number one fan yelling, ‘You go, baby!’ I’ll be holding up a big sign.”

Joe asked Aaron what they did for their first date, and Aaron said that while they took it slow at first, he made sure to take her on a proper date once they knew their relationship was going somewhere.
Aaron said, “It’s funny because for our first date, I wasn’t really planning on it being a date. It was more just to meet this person. We got a few beers. It was more casual at first, but once I started really liking her, I was like, ‘Okay, I have to do this right.’ So I took her to this nice restaurant here in San Diego called Island Prime. It’s a steak and lobster place right on the water. I did it right for sure!”
Joe also wondered if Aaron’s girlfriend has seen or at least knows about his time on the Bachelor Nation shows.
Aaron laughed and said, “She knows about my horrific failures on national TV. If she’s okay with that, I feel like she could be the one, I a thousand percent agree. And I’m even worse in real life, so…”
