Christina Mandrell Discusses ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ and the Connection She’d Be Looking For There
Almost paradise?!
Bachelor Nation fans got to know Christina Mandrell on Season 27 of “The Bachelor,” and while things didn’t work out between her and Zach, she’s still open to finding love on-screen.
Christina stopped by the “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” podcast and was asked by co-hosts Jill Chin, Mari Pepin, and Aaron Clancy if she’d want to go to “Paradise.”
Christina said, “I mean, never say never. Hypothetically, if I had a ‘friend’ who was thinking about going, since you guys have all been, what’s some advice you would give me? What’s the best day bed there? Should I be calling dibs on one?”
Jill asked if this “friend” Christina was talking about was herself and asked what kind of partner she’d be looking for on the beach if she did go to “Paradise.”

The Bachelor Nation star said, “Yes, this friend is hypothetically me. That’s a good question. I don’t have a type per se. I think in my recent dating years, I have been so open-minded. I proved my own point with not knowing exactly what I want after getting married and divorced, so I have no expectations. Hypothetically speaking, if I were to go, who do you think I’d be cute with?”
Jill said she’s shipping Tyler Norris and Christina if they are both on the beach because he’s a “cutie pie.”
Christina chimed in saying she’s not sure Tyler is her typical type, but she’s open to all new connections.
She said, “With exactly what you’re saying about him being a cutie pie, I think I might run right over him with my loudness.”

Christina shared what she’s hoping for in a partner, saying, “I’m in the South, and I’m over the whole toxic masculinity thing. If I go on a date and I ask the guy on a date, I’m gonna pay if I was the one who asked him on the date. I want an equal relationship. It’s like a teeter-totter — sometimes there will be give and take. It’s not equal all the time, but I don’t like the whole feeling of him needing to do this for me. I want to spoil my man and I want a partnership! It’s not just me, I have my baby girl, so I don’t need anyone.”
Aaron said Christina has “queen energy” and will have no trouble in “Paradise” if she does go.
