Zach Shallcross & Kaity Biggar Discuss Meeting ‘Golden Bachelor’s’ Kathy Swarts and Moving Into Her House!?
Looking ahead.
Bachelor Nation fans saw Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar find love and get engaged on Season 27 of “The Bachelor.”
The two have since moved in together in Austin, Texas, and are enjoying their lives as a happily engaged couple.
Now, the lovebirds stopped by for a chat with Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast.
Zach and Kaity discussed their future and what the next steps are for them as a couple.
The two moved in together in July and Zach shared that they are currently looking for a new apartment.
The former Bachelor said, “Our apartment lease ends on January 1 and we’re in the stage of apartment shopping right now. We are going to Kaity’s family for Christmas for two weeks, so we only have a couple weeks to look. We’re looking to do one more year renting, then hopefully buy a house. Or at least we want to use this next year to look for a home in Austin.”
And while they’re looking for a new apartment, Kaity revealed that they may have another living option via a new Bachelor Nation connection.
Kaity said, “Funny enough, I was on the same flight as Kathy from Gerry’s season on the way to L.A. I saw her and she said I looked really familiar and I shared that I was from Zach’s season and we got engaged. She was like ‘Oh, my gosh, that’s crazy!’ She ended up unleashing and we became friends on the flight.”
She went on, sharing, “We got seated beside each other because the flight attendant knew who we were and gave us wine. Next thing I knew, she was telling me she has relatives in Canada. She was telling me that Zach and I could move into her place. She lives in Austin, but she wanted to go out to Canada, so she offered us to live in her place. She was like, ‘You can drive my Mercedes and you just have to take care of my cats.’ Now we’re texting, and she’s the coolest.”
Serena said that sounds like a perfect house swap and Joe asked if they were seriously considering it.
Kaity said, “Honestly, we could be moving into Kathy’s house.”
