7 Questions We Need Answered on the ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Finale
Season 6 of “Bachelor in Paradise” is coming to a close, and what a ride it’s been! We’ve seen couples fall in love, couples break up, love triangles, love “decagons,” body slams over piñatas, and so much more.
For some, “Bachelor in Paradise” created relationships that may end with an engagement. However, not everyone who came down those hallowed steps in Sayulita found what they were looking for. Take Cam Ayala, for instance. He fell hard for Caelynn Miller-Keyes, and even wrote her a poem and note. Those feelings were ultimately not reciprocated and his new tagline became “ABC: Always Be Crying.”
Many of the best and most important moments of the season have “Paradise” fans pondering the fate of some of their favorite cast members. These are the questions we want to see answered on the “Bachelor in Paradise” season finale.
1. Will Demi Burnett & Kristian Haggerty get engaged?
Without a doubt, this is one of the most groundbreaking moments ever on “Bachelor in Paradise,” as well as the Bachelor franchise as a whole. Demi arrived in “Paradise” and hit it off with Derek Peth immediately, but she pulled back once she came to terms with her feelings for Kristian. She broke up with him, and then Kristian arrived. They decided to pursue their relationship in “Paradise,” which wasn’t always a walk in the park. Meanwhile, the Bachelor Nation fanbase ardently prompted a #DerekForBachelor movement in the hope that he’ll find a successful relationship on the show.
Demi opened up time and again about her discomfort with coming out and feeling ashamed about her feelings for so long. Kristian supported her every step of the way, and they’re walking into the “Paradise” finale looking like one of the happiest and most in love couples out there.
Will their time on “Paradise” end in engagement?
2. Will Blake Horstmann & Caelynn Miller-Keyes clear the air about the Stagecoach texts?
The Stagecoach music festival became an unofficial cast member this season on “Paradise,” as it was talked about during nearly every conversation for the first week or so. A personal situation between Caelynn Miller-Keyes, Kristina Schulman and Blake Horstmann became nearly everyone’s business — on the beach and off — when Blake made a controversial decision to release text messages between him and Caelynn in order to “speak my truth.” Blake deleted these text messages, but its impact reverberated throughout Bachelor Nation even though filming had already finished.
Will Blake and Caelynn let Stagecoach bygones be bygones?
3. Will Christian Estrada & Jordan Kimball have a truce?
Despite the fact that piñatas are the ones meant to be hit, punches flew between Christian and Jordan on the beach one night. Christian took Nicole on a date and they had an instant connection, which made Clay Harbor feel really jealous. Clay told Jordan, who also took Nicole on a date, about his feelings.
“Mayor of Paradise” Jordan defended Clay’s feelings by confronting Christian later that night and untying the piñata Christian got for Nicole. What occurred next is still murky, but the two men got into a very physical altercation. Christian and Jordan were immediately sent packing and their time on “Paradise” came to an end.
Are Jordan and Christian capable of peace talks?
4. What will become of Dylan Barbour & Hannah Godwin?
If you searched “love at first sight” or “head-over-heels in love” in the dictionary, you’d probably find a photo of Dylan Barbour.
The San Diego native arrived in “Paradise” with his eye on one woman and one woman only: Hannah Godwin. Hannah, however, had other suitors and ultimately had to decide between Dylan and Blake. Dylan’s heartbreak and pain were abundantly apparent during each moment Hannah spent with Blake or another man on the beach. Much to nearly everyone’s relief, Hannah handed her rose to Dylan, thus solidifying their relationship. In that moment, Dylan probably could have catapulted to the moon and back out of giddiness.
Hannah and Dylan spent the rest of their time on “Paradise” cuddling, napping, and kissing. They appeared to be the epitome of a “Paradise” success story.
How will it end? Will Dylan propose? If so, will Hannah accept?
5. Will John Paul Jones get any closure from Tayshia Adams?
JPJ and Tayshia are the couple that no one expected or saw coming in “Paradise.” They had a bit of a bumpy start, but JPJ wasn’t afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve and tell everyone that he only wanted to be with Tayshia. He even organized a prom for her because he found out she never attended her own! And who said chivalry was dead?
Although they had their romantic, dance-filled evening, Tayshia ended things with the Maryland native after he professed his love. He said she didn’t feel “there yet,” and they went their separate ways. However, Tayshia told “Entertainment Tonight” that she felt like she “made a really big mistake” doing that, but she did it because she knew her “heart wasn’t there.”
Is it really over for Tayshia and JPJ?
6. What will Chris Bukowski’s last chyron say?

“Bachelor in Paradise” producers clearly love making fun of Chris Bukowski, who is hoping that the sixth time’s the charm for love. Most of these hilarious moments come in the form of his description on the chyron at the bottom of the television screen. These include “Bachelor Series Regular” and “Hoping This Is It.”
Will this be “it” for Chris? Will he go back into retirement for good? Will he ever be able to open up to Katie enough? What will his last chyron say?
7. The next Bachelor
