Are You Ready to See Peter Weber in His First Official Promo for ‘The Bachelor’?
It’s hard to believe that it’s already been six weeks since Chris Harrison announced Peter Weber as the next Bachelor during the “Bachelor in Paradise” Reunion show. We hadn’t seen any official photos and promotions for Season 24 of “The Bachelor” — until now!
The show gifted the world with a sweet treat on Halloween in the form of a video. In the clip, posted to the show’s Instagram page, the camera pans in on Peter walking and then adjusting his tie. The narrator says in a gruff voice, “He’s not afraid to pop the question.”
Peter then walks up to a bowl of candy, picks up a chocolate, and performs a magic trick. He says coyly to the camera, “Would you like a trick… Or a treat?”
The video was captioned, “No tricks here. Just a treat! Happy Halloween from #TheBachelor!”

Peter expressed delight and enthusiasm when the news broke that he would be handing out the roses. He said at the “Paradise” Reunion, “My entire life, I have truly looked forward to finding my girl and that person that I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with.”
The 28-year-old said he knows the process won’t be easy, but he’s not letting that deter him from opening his heart to love. “This is not normal — dating 30 women at a time. I’ve never done this before, so there’s going to be ups and downs. I know that’s coming, and I’m not going to be perfect being in this position,” he said. “The possibility of making the wrong decision is out there, but I’m going to follow my heart.”
He ultimately hopes that the women vying for his affection and attention will be open to the process. He expressed, “Show me that vulnerable raw side from the very beginning. If you’re starting to fall, tell me. If you’re angry at me, tell me. Wear your heart on your sleeve.”
Before the official announcement, Peter called in to an episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour” and told hosts Rachel Lindsay and Ali Fedotowsky-Manno that he would “absolutely” want to be the next leading man. He said, “I have been through this experience. I know it works. I have fallen in love. I have spent two months traveling the world, going on amazing experiences, and truly getting to know someone and falling in love with them. I know it works.”
Some fellow Bachelors have offered tidbits of advice for the airline pilot. In the most recent episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour,” Nick Viall shared, “I hope for Peter a woman he’s really into was cast and is really into him. That’s the hope, because it is a crapshoot. My advice for him is hopefully you’re lucky enough to meet her and protect that relationship.”
Additionally, Arie Luyendyk Jr. gave his two cents in an Instagram Q&A on September 25. A fan asked if he had “any advice for Peter” and he replied, “It’s the most insane experience that comes with an enormous amount of pressure and stress, but at the same time you have to block that out to soak it in and ENJOY IT.”
In the second part of his response, Arie wrote, “I got run down and overwhelmed and I wish I would have been able to relax and it enjoy more looking back. So happy that I found Lauren, no matter how imperfect people at home thought my season was.”
Arie and Lauren are now married with an adorable daughter, Alessi.
Season 24 of “The Bachelor” premieres in January.
