This Season on 'The Bachelorette': Clare 'Will Not Apologize for Love'
Clare Crawley's time as the Bachelorette has officially begun, and the season premiere showed that she's not wasting any time when it comes to looking for love.
After meeting the 31 men who risked it all to meet her, Clare handed her First Impression Rose to Dale and sent home the men with whom she didn't feel a connection. There was, however, one man in particular who had a profound impact on her, causing Clare to say, "I feel like I just met my husband."
Was her intuition correct?
In the teaser shown at the end of Tuesday's episode, Clare asserts, "I'm a grown woman. I do what I want to do when I want to do it."
She's seen kissing some of the guys, including Jason, Eazy, Chasen and Dale.
Ben tells her, "The way you make me feel is the way I’ve been wanting to feel this entire life."
Clare tells the camera in another portion of the trailer, "This is not a secret. I’m here to find love. I have feelings for Dale. It’s not a secret. It’s because I like him. It’s happening."
Her affection for Dale stirs up some feelings among the men. Bennett says, "It’s only a matter of time before Clare realizes the truth, that Dale’s maybe not who Clare thinks he is."
In a totally dramatic moment, Chris Harrison tells the group of guys, "In the 18 years I’ve been doing this show, we’ve never dealt with anything like this."
Clare then expresses to her men, "I will never apologize for love. I’ll apologize if I wasted your time. I will apologize if I hurt you, but I will not apologize for love. Never."
