Merry Christmas, baby! Beloved Bachelor Nation couple Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham documented their final Christmas before their twins arrive in a sweet YouTube video dedicated to their firstborn, daughter Alessi, 19 months.

“Good morning, Lessi,” Arie says at the top of the clip.

“You’re a year and a half old. This is our last Christmas with just us three, so we’re going to document it and show you your day,” adds Lauren, who recently announced she is pregnant again and expecting two bundles of joy to arrive in June 2021.

The pair then pan to all of Alessi’s presents waiting to be opened beneath their glittering Christmas tree. “Santa brought you so many toys, oh my gosh,” Lauren says. “You’re going to freak out when you see this.”

And freak out she did. Once Alessi emerged from her bedroom to unwrap her gifts, she shared her excitement with big smiles and loud squeals as her parents handed her an array of surprises, including a play kitchen set, clothes, books, and a bike, among other standout items.

But it was the bike that made Lauren particularly emotional. “I think I’m more excited than her,” she says, as her daughter attempts to ride it. “I’m, like, literally about to cry.”

By the end of the video, Lauren and Arie admit that Alessi wore them out. “We are very tired,” says Lauren, to which her husband responds, speaking directly to Alessi, “You have a lot of energy. I can’t even imagine next year with you and your siblings. I don’t even know how it’s going to work.”

The race car driver-turned-real estate developer continued, “You were very cute in your little kitchen with all your toys and it was really sweet, and we love you very much. It’s kind of odd to think this is going to be the last Christmas with just us three. Hopefully, you can look back at this when you’re older and just kind of see how Mom and Dad were and just how crazy you were.”

Arie and Lauren’s Christmas video comes just days after they revealed in a separate video, posted on December 24, that they already have names picked out for their twins. According to the Scottsdale, Arizona-based couple, their chosen monikers are especially meaningful considering the devastating miscarriage they suffered in May.

“I picked the names out for our future kids before Alessi was even born. I’ve had them ready to go,” said Lauren, who married Arie in January 2019 following a whirlwind romance that played out on Season 22 of “The Bachelor.”

“We picked them almost two years ago now and we just found out what they mean,” the future mom of three explained, though she is not yet ready to reveal her twins’ names. “It’s just so symbolic of our journey and where we are in this whole thing now.”
