Chris Harrison Teases Ben Higgins' Appearance on Matt James' Season of 'The Bachelor'
He’s back! Chris Harrison took to Instagram on Thursday to tease Ben Higgins’ upcoming appearance on Matt James’ landmark 25th season of “The Bachelor.”
“Another week of #TheBachelor another familiar face stops by @higgins.ben,” the host wrote alongside a photo of himself posing with Ben and Matt. (On last week’s episode, beloved alum Ashley Iaconetti stopped by to preside over a fun-filled group date.)
Noting the handsome leads’ height, Chris jokingly added, “And another week of not feeling very tall. Thanks @mattjames919.”

Ben — whose cameo will air Monday night — likely imparted words of wisdom to Matt during his time at Farmington, Pennsylvania’s Nemacolin Woodlands Resort (where the entirety of “The Bachelor” Season 25 was filmed inside of a coronavirus-free bubble).
As fans are well aware, Ben led Season 20 of the series in 2016. Though he eventually split from his finalist, Lauren Bushnell, the “Almost Famous” podcast host is now happily engaged to skin care influencer Jessica Clarke. The couple — who live in Denver, Colorado — plan to tie the knot later this year.
Meanwhile, Ben is gearing up for the February 2 release of his memoir, “Alone in Plain Sight: Searching for Connection When You’re Seen but Not Known.” The book features personal stories of how the Bachelor Nation figure went from feeling lonely and rejected to finally feeling seen after pursuing authentic connections with himself, with others, and with God.
“I wanted to write something that matters, something raw and honest,” Ben told People in September. “And nothing matters more to me than addressing something I’ve felt deep down my entire life.”
He added, “This book is for those of us, myself included, who struggle with life’s disappointments and unanswerable questions to try and help all of us who are feeling isolated and misunderstood to realize that we’re not alone in these feelings.”
Catch Ben on next week’s episode of “The Bachelor,” airing Monday on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
