Chelsea Vaughn Wants to Set Mike Johnson Up with Fellow 'Bachelor' Season 25 Star Pieper James
She’s playing matchmaker! “Bachelor” star Chelsea Vaughn stopped by the latest episode of “Talking It Out,” during which she tried to set up her friend and fellow Season 25 contestant Pieper James with co-host Mike Johnson.
As listeners will recall, Pieper appeared on last week’s edition of “Click Bait” and revealed to co-hosts Tayshia Adams, Joe Amabile, and Natasha Parker that her Bachelor Nation crush is Mike.
“I don’t know if you guys heard ‘Click Bait,’ but I was wondering, Bryan — not Mike — Bryan, who do you think from my cast that Mike should get with?” Chelsea asked, hoping the Miami-based chiropractor might mention Pieper.
“My favorite the whole season, besides you of course, for Matt [James] has been Bri [Springs],” he said of the gorgeous front-runner, who is part of the current “Bachelor” season’s final three, alongside Michelle Young and Rachael Kirkconnell.
“So if Matt doesn’t choose Bri, Mike, step up bro,” Bryan added. “Come on!”
Mike played coy in response. “I’m not responding to this,” he said. “I ain’t saying nothing! I’m coolin’ it right here.”
Bryan then asked Chelsea, “Who do you think would be a good match? You know the girls better than I do.”
Of course, this prompted the runway model to bring up Pieper. “I don’t know. Pieper’s kind of cute,” she said, to which Bryan chimed in, “Pieper is a beautiful woman.”
Mike agreed, saying, “She is. She’s also intelligent. She speaks her mind.”
Elsewhere, Chelsea joked that Pieper “is going to kill” her for trying to push a romance with Mike.
“He’s blushing, Pieper, he’s blushing!” Bryan enthused, noting that Mike might have a thing for the stunning grad student.
“Pieper, I’ll hit you up!” Mike later promised.
“Chelsea, we’re matchmakers,” Bryan said with a laugh. “Yes, thank you for playing matchmaker with me,” she replied graciously.
