'Bachelor Happy Hour': Astrid Loch Talks Long IVF Journey and Starting a Family with Kevin Wendt
Astrid Loch stopped by “Bachelor Happy Hour” and chatted with Becca Kufrin and guest co-host Catherine Lowe about her recent pregnancy news with fiancé Kevin Wendt.
The Bachelor Nation couple — who fell in love on “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 5 in 2018 — announced May 9 that they are expecting their first child following struggles with infertility. While opening up to Becca and Catherine about her challenging experience, Astrid explained why she and Kevin turned to in vitro fertilization (IVF) and detailed the toll it took on her body.
The Florida native — who lives in Toronto with Kevin and their adorable dog Ace — also shared what she is most looking forward to about motherhood. Elsewhere, she revealed the one part of her pregnancy that she and Kevin plan to keep under wraps.
Astrid also updated listeners on her wedding plans with Kevin after the pair had to postpone their ceremony due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
