Sarah Herron Gets Candid About ‘Overcoming Obstacles’ as She Looks Ahead to Future Motherhood
Bachelor Nation first met Sarah Herron on Season 17 of “The Bachelor.” Sarah also hit the beaches of “Bachelor in Paradise” on Seasons 1 and 3 in hopes of finding love.
Sarah ended up finding her forever person off-screen and is currently engaged to filmmaker and photographer Dylan Brown.
While Sarah found love off the show, she’s been keeping Bachelor Nation up to date on her relationship and her future plans.
Specifically, the Bachelor Nation star has been extremely open about her egg-freezing journey as she and Dylan look ahead at becoming parents.

They aren’t expecting yet, but the couple have shared with fans that they have three healthy embryos ready for transfer.
Sarah announced the news on Instagram last month, revealing, “We are obviously over the moon excited, and I am chomping at the bit to transfer ASAP, but we are weighing options of transfer time, and best protocol. It will definitely be this fall. It’s certainly a privilege to be able to make decisions like this.”
And now, as Sarah prepares for the next step in the “baby making” process, she took to Instagram to discuss her fears about motherhood as someone with a limb difference.
As Bachelor Nation fans know, Sarah was born with only one hand due to a rare condition known as amniotic band syndrome.
And as Sarah prepares to become a mom herself, she posted, “I’ve been pretty inventive with the ways I’ve overcome obstacles in my life with one hand. I’ve learned how to braid my hair, tie my shoes, paddle board, rock climb, fly fish, etc. but in the back of my mind, I have been wondering something for almost my whole adult life. ‘How will I hold a baby and multitask with one hand?’”

The Bachelor Nation star continued, asking others with limb differences if they wear prosthetics and if so, what kind.
She wrote, “I KNOW that I am capable and determined, and that all of it will come instinctively and I will just find ways to adapt in most scenarios — like I have with everything else. But I just can’t help but feel overwhelmed that somethings, most things, will be too hard to do with one hand.”
The Bachelor Nation star asked her followers to send her photos, products, or anything else they’ve found helpful, and the comments were flooded with useful responses from fans.
Sarah concluded her post with a nod to a photo of her holding her little sister when she was a baby, writing, “Old photos of me with my baby sister @taylorherronn doin’ just fine!”
Sarah is an inspiration to so many people, and we have no doubt that by sharing her experiences with egg freezing and parenting with limb differences, she’ll help even more fans.
