Astrid Loch Gets Emotional on Son August’s First Day of Day Care: ‘Lots of Tears for Mom’
They grow up so fast!
Bachelor Nation stars Astrid Loch and Kevin Wendt met on Season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise,” and the two welcomed their first child together, August, in 2021.
And earlier this month, the two shared that after another successful round of IVF, they are expecting their second baby!
Now, Astrid is taking to Instagram to share an adorable, emotional milestone for their son Auggy.

The Bachelor Nation star took to Instagram to share adorable photos of August with his personalized backpack and wrote, “First day of daycare for our big boy. No tears for Auggy, lots of tears for Mom.”
Astrid also posted on her Stories some texts from his day care teacher, and Astrid wrote that she’s a “PROUD MOM TODAY I’m not crying you’re crying!”
The texts said, “Auggy is awesome! I haven't heard this child cry once yet. He’s happy playing, happy to eat, happy to sleep... Clearly lol. I could tell after 11:00 he was slowing down. He ate, the food coma was hitting him and even though he was still happy and playing I could tell nap time will be easy.”

The teacher went on, saying, “Literally took him 3 min to fall asleep. He's honestly so so good and he loves to dance and music. He fits right in with this little group. I love him already!”
How adorable!
We can’t get over how cute Auggy is and we can’t wait for the Wendt family to keep growing!
