Where 'Bachelor' Couples Are Now
"The Bachelor" has been a pivotal part of our television watching experience for 17 years. It first premiered in 2002 with Alex Michel, and we’ve since followed over 20 men and their respective love stories.
Matt James will make history on Season 25 as he becomes the first Black Bachelor in franchise history. Twenty four seasons is a lot of Bachelors to keep up with, so check out the list below to see where they are now and if they're still with their final rose recipient.
Alex Michel (Season 1)
Finalist: Amanda Marsh
Runner up: Trista Rehn
Still together?: No. Alex did not propose at the end, and he and Amanda split up after the show.
Aaron Buerge (Season 2)
Finalist: Helene Eksterowicz
Runner up: Brooke Smith
Still together?: No. He and Helene broke up a few weeks after the finale. The banker and bar owner lives in Missouri with his wife Angye McIntosh and their daughter Aven.
Andrew Firestone (Season 3)
Finalist: Jen Schefft
Runner up: Kirsten Buschbacher
Still together?: No. He and future Bachelorette Jen had some success for a while, but they parted ways a few months later. He’s now married to Ivana Božilović and they have three children — Adam, Anja, and Shane.
Bob Guiney (Season 4)
Finalist: Estella Gardinier
Runner up: Kelly Jo Kuharski
Still together?: No. Bob did not propose to Estella but they decided to stay together after the show. They broke up not long afterwards. He and his wife Jessica Canyon welcomed their first child together, a son named Grayson, in December 2018.
Jesse Palmer (Season 5)
Finalist: Jessica Bowlin
Runner up: Tara Huckeby
Still together?: No. Jesse opted not to pop the question and he and Jessica broke up after the show. Jesse fans can catch him on all sorts of TV programs or walking around New York City with his fiancée Emely Fardo and their dog LouLou.
Byron Velvick (Season 6)
Finalist: Mary Delgado
Runner-up: Tanya Michel
Still together?: No. Byron and Mary broke up in 2009 after five years together. He’s now married to Belinda Velvick (née Belinda Juarez) and they have a daughter named Kamber.
Charlie O’Connell (Season 7)
Finalist: Sarah Brice
Runner-up: Krisily Kennedy
Still together?: No. Charlie and Sarah had an on-again-off-again relationship after their time on the show. They split up for good in 2010. Charlie is currently married to model Anna Sophia Berglund.
Travis Lane Stork (Season 8)
Finalist: Sarah Stone
Runner-up: Moana Dixon
Still together?: No. Travis and Sarah’s relationship was pretty short-lived, despite developing in the City of Love (they filmed primarily in Paris). However, "The Bachelor" wasn’t the last of Travis' television experience. He was also a co-host on the show "The Doctors" before announcing his retirement from it in August 2020.
He married Parris Bell August 3, 2019, and they welcomed their first son Grayson on June 17, 2020.
Lorenzo Borghese (Season 9)
Finalist: Jennifer Wilson
Runner-up: Sadie Murray
Still together?: No. The Italian prince (they filmed in Rome) and Jennifer split up after the show in 2007.
Lorenzo now spends a lot of his time working for organizations dedicated to animals, such as Animal Aid USA. He also runs South Beach Brewing Company. Head to his Instagram profile for pictures of the Bachelor with cute dogs.
Andrew Baldwin (Season 10)
Finalist: Tessa Horst
Runner-up: Bevin Nicole Powers
Still together?: No. Andy proposed to Tessa but they broke off their engagement after the show. They continued to date for just under a year after that, but officially split in 2007. He doesn’t appear to be married now, but he does have quite the impressive résumé. He’s currently a physician at a hospital in San Diego and served in the United States Navy.
Brad Womack (Season 11)
Finalist: None
Runner-up: Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas
Still together?: Brad proposed to neither Jenni nor DeAnna this first time around. He still lives in Texas and owns bars.
Matt Grant (Season 12)
Finalist: Shayne Lamas
Runner-up: Chelsea Wanstrath
Still together?: No. The British Bachelor and his actress fiancée broke up in July 2008. He’s now married to Rebecca Moring. They tied the knot in December 2017 in England.
Jason Mesnick (Season 13)
Finalist: Melissa Rycroft
Runner-up: Molly Malaney
Still together?: No. Jason shocked Bachelor Nation on "After the Final Rose" when he broke up with Melissa and told her he still had feelings for Molly.
Jason and Molly got married February 27, 2010, and live in Washington. Jason has son Ty from a previous marriage, and Jason and Molly welcomed Riley March 14, 2013.
Jake Pavelka (Season 14)
Finalist: Vienna Girardi
Runner-up: Tenley Molzahn
Still together?: No. Jake and Vienna had a messy breakup that resulted in an uncomfortable conversation moderated by Chris Harrison.
Tenley and her husband Taylor Leopold welcomed their daughter Rell Jaymes Leopold on September 20, 2020.
Brad Womack (Season 15)
Finalist: Emily Maynard
Runner-up: Chantal O’Brien
Still together?: No. Emily became the Bachelorette after they split up. Chantal made it to the final two despite slapping Brad across the face on the first night saying it was "a gift from every woman in America."
Ben Flajnik (Season 16)
Finalist: Courtney Robertson
Runner-up: Lindzi Cox
Still together?: No. The San Francisco-based vintner seems to still be single. He started his own wine label and loves cooking with his niece Josephine.
Sean Lowe (Season 17)
Finalist: Catherine Giudici
Runner-up: Lindsay Yenter
Still together?: Yes! Sean and Catherine tied the knot in 2014 and have three kids — Samuel, Isaiah, and Mia.
Juan Pablo Galavis (Season 18)
Finalist: Nikki Ferrell
Runner-up: Clare Crawley
Still together?: No. Juan Pablo did not propose to Nikki and they broke up a few months after the show. Clare became the Season 16 Bachelorette.
Chris Soules (Season 19)
Finalist: Whitney Bischoff
Runner-up: Becca Tilley
Still together?: No. Chris and Whitney split up after the show. He still lives in Iowa. Whitney is now married and gave birth to her first child in May 2019.
Ben Higgins (Season 20)
Finalist: Lauren Bushnell
Runner-up: JoJo Fletcher
Still together?: No. Lauren and Ben stayed together for about a year, but they broke up in 2017. Lauren married country music star Chris Lane in October 2019. Ben got engaged to Jess Clarke in March 2020.
Nick Viall (Season 21)
Finalist: Vanessa Grimaldi
Runner-up: Raven Gates
Still together?: No. Nick and Vanessa parted ways soon after the show aired.
Vanessa lives in Canada and got engaged to Josh Wolfe on August 9, 2020. Raven got engaged in May 2019 to Adam Gottschalk, whom she met on "Bachelor in Paradise." Raven and Adam postponed their wedding due to COVID-19.
Arie Luyendyk Jr. (Season 22)
Finalist: Becca Kufrin
Runner-up: Lauren Burnham
Still together?: No. Arie proposed to Becca in the finale but later changed his mind.
He and Lauren got married in January 2019 and welcomed their first child, Alessi Ren Luyendyk, on May 28, 2019. Becca then became the Season 14 Bachelorette.
Colton Underwood (Season 23)
Finalist: Cassie Randolph
Runner-up: Tayshia Adams & Hannah Godwin
Still together?: No. Cassie and Colton stayed together for about two years, but they split up in May 2020.
Peter Weber (Season 24)
Finalist: Hannah Ann Sluss
Runner-up: Madison Prewett
Still together?: No. Peter proposed to Hannah Ann on the season finale, but later broke up with her because he still had feelings for Madison. Peter and Madison reconnected at "After the Final Rose," but decided not to pursue a relationship.
Peter and Kelley Flanagan, who also appeared on his season, went public with their relationship in May 2020. They are planning on moving to New York together and are happily in love.
